1) Is the New Senator of the republic the Emperor in the
original Trilogy?
Well from what I gather, Yes. I think this because in
Episode 1, he says to Anakin that he will be watching his career with great
interest! maybe I'm looking too far into this. Also Yoda says at the end
"was it the master or the apprentice who was killed", & the camera
goes onto the senator with a certain look on his face.
2) When will Episode 2 & 3 be out?
Well, honestly I don't know, I've heard that
Episode 2 is scheduled for around May/June 2002, so I would imagine Episode 3
will be out about autumn 2005.
